Urs Heftrich, professor of Slavonic studies at the Heidelberg university, is professor of Slavonic Studies (literature) at the Heidelberg university. He has translated more than 40 Czech and Russian poets and edited several books and anthologies, e.g. the collected works by Vladimír Holan. From this edition, four volumes have been published.
